A Reflection of a Distinct Eden

G*d created the earth not as Eden. Not only does the logic that He should have punished Eve while she had no sense of right or wrong, and therefore could not have the awareness to obey Him fail, but also, there is no reason that the Lord should have created earth outside of Eden. She was set up, purposefully to fail.
Otherwise, an omnipotent ruler would have known that she would fail, and could therefore intercept the snake. Furthermore, He asks where they hide, when of course He knows that they now feel shame, and indeed knows where they hide.
